Shopping and redecorating

Well, so far today has been a good one. It started off kinda rocky though. I woke up, got ready for work, sat down to some coffee then started feeling really nauseous then ran like hell to the bathroom and puked my brains out. Yeah... I know... thanks for sharing! lol! I have no idea what brought it on but it was just sudden and weird, maybe it was because Sparky kept farting and bitching? I swear the moment that mans hit the floor in the morning he never stops, unless he falls asleep on the couch and that's when the farting begins. I guess it's considered farting no matter what end it's coming from. Verbal farting while he's awake and then...well you get the picture.

OK so after the unpleasantness I looked in the mirror and fixed my makeup and thought, ooh, it's January, I have a shitload of vacation and sick time. Not wanting to be late, or get on the bus and have another unpleasant episode I called and scheduled a vacation day. Luckily our work is flexible like that, it's a nice benefit. Anyway I got myself together, drank some herbal tea and began to feel better. Since Nancy's birthday is this weekend and I had to make a trip to the bank I decided to see if she wanted to go with. After the bank which is located in Walmart, I figured I would look at the little kids bikes and then go across the street to the furniture store to see what they have. So Nancy got ready and we hopped a bus to Walmart we stopped in the bank, then looked at the bikes. They are cute but they didn't have the purple Disney Princess bike in a 12" for Chloe so I will look on line and order it and have it delivered to the house, along with something cute for Hannah to ride. After we looked at the bikes we'd had enough of Walmart so we headed over to the furniture store.

The furniture store was fun, I found some things I liked, and prices are affordable, so do I get a nice sectional or do I get a sofa and love seat? Either way it has to big and comfy with lots of pillows. I looked for curtains but I never see anything I like and I can sew my ass of so of course I need to get my butt down to the fabric store and pic out some nice silks or velvets. Then some palm trees for the corners with up lights or twinkle lights, sconces for candles, I will probably buy some canvas and paint my own pics, then to Home Depot for paint for the walls. Yep we are finally making this place home. Usually I decorate and hook everything up the minute I move in but I didn't and I think it was mostly because Tyler was still here and there was so much drama it didn't feel like home and I was threatening to move if he didn't. But he is gone and the only drama here is Sparky and that too will end hopefully soon enough. But I signed a new lease and I have the ok to paint so I am feeling creative again, like my old self. The girls and I all have the same taste in decorating so it will be nice and comfy.

After the furniture store we went next door to good will. There you can find treasures that are no longer available in stores. We found 2 like new Marilyn Monroe purses. Nancy loves Marilyn Monroe, we all do. So I got them for her. They were only 10.00 each, they are over 50.00 in the stores. We also found some movies for the little ones. After that we went to IHOP to eat and had stuffed french toast with eggs and hash browns. then took the bus home. On the way home we both brought up tattoos and piercings at the same time. We all think alike at times. So it's not uncommon to start talking at the same time about the same things. Nancy wants her lip pierced and I am thinking about getting my nose re pierced and another tattoo. Her friend Mike does tats and is supposed to be good so she is going to see if he will do my tat. Our friend Mike who does piercings at Pigments of the Imagination will do the piercings, Mike has pierced all of us, many times. lol! He's good.

In about an hour we are off to Metro Center mall to look for shoes, I want some black converse, and some boots. Then when Shannon gets off work she will meet us at Hot Topic so she can say hi to the hot guy there who likes her, and I can look for more shoes and stuff. I need to buy some clothes. We were messing around in Walmart in the clotses department, they had some really horrendous old lady clothes and I always pick the ugliest thing and stop and go Oh My God!!! I love this!!! I have to have it!!!! People look at me like "you are either blind, or sick!" lol! Before the mall we are stopping at Zia Records they always have great stuff, then we hop another bus and hit the mall.
