Car fires and what not
Above is the video of the car fire Karen and I saw on the way to work this morning. There was a huge cloud of black smoke and as we drove past to get off the freeway with everyone else it you could here it start to pop and explode at that point it was fully engulfed and the fire department was just arriving.I hope no one was in the car. Pretty wild start to the morning.
Other than that the day went well. I got everything put away in my new desk in our new area and put up my pics and stuff. I put a fall screen saver on my computer so at least it will look like fall even though it is still so warm. October is almost over and it is still in the 90's. I will love it when it finally cools off. Up north we get snow, here in Phoenix it gets into the 50's and 60's during the day sometimes cooler and sometimes it freezes at night. The desert can get pretty cold in the evenings. I am cold weather person and I though I love the mountains and forests i also love the water. Makes you wonder what I am in doing here in the desert, yep I am out of my element. Oh well. My cubicle looks all nice and comfy.
I did really well with keeping a good attitude and handling even the most difficult cardmembers with the utmost care and kindness. I always do treat them well even if they are hateful but I didn't let the stress get to me. So I came home with lots of energy and made spaghetti with mushroom and green peppers in the sauce. I still have energy to work out before I go to bed as well.
My pets still follow me around like shadows it's funny to see them, wherever I go in the house I am follwed by a beagle named Roxie, a cinnamon Lab named MaryJane, 2 kittens Catarina and Thor and now and the my other 2 mostly outdoor cats Stoner and Cookie. I usually have my grandaughters Chloe who is 3 and Hannah who is 1 1/2 in tow as well. Hannah is sitting in my lap as I write this. The little always warm my heart!
Well enough journal therapy for 1 day. I am going to go work out and try to get to bed early.
