I am sitting here with my cup of coffee trying to wake up. Today it's just plain old strong dark Italian blend of some sort that I picked up at the store. Yesterday i had a pumpkin latte from starbucks. I ordered the pumpkin latte then saw that they had espresso truffle and considered changing my order but decided against it. I don't go to starbucks that often anymore, though I do love it. During the summer when it is so damn hot here I always get a venti iced layed carmel machiato, try it you'll love it! But when it cools off outside I like the same thing only hot, also I love the holiday latte's eggnog latte and pumpkin spice. For the times when I don't want caffiene hot carmel apple cider is really good. I love coffee, can you tell? My daughter Erin nicknamed me coffee crotch. Lovely... nothing to do with the crotch, I just love coffee. You know, McDonalds actually has an iced caramel coffee that is actually really good. Ok so enough about coffee.
Did I mention someone is watching our house? Don't know who it is or why. Actually we are used to it because ever since I was young this has occured. Especially after I moved out and away from my family. So usually it has to do with my dad and his people. I really don't know what these people want, but they are being really obvious about it. Last weekend we put a sign in the window saying "You in the red car, what the fuck are you looking at!" After that they started coming around in a white car. They really must be bored because pretty much all we do is go to work and come home and go to the store. Then there are the water balloon and bbgun fights with people throwing water balloons off the roof and all over the place. You know, that sign in the window would be great to have up when google street view takes pics of the houses in my neighborhood. Now that would be cool! We also sit on the roof and hang out or want to be alone or meditate. Other than that everything else happens in the house, like hanging out listening to music and singing and dancing and playing beer pong and stuff. So who knows what they want.
Today I promised Chloe and Hannah I would make oatmeal cookies and strawberry muffins. They are always eating snacks from boxes from the store so I like to make homemade snacks for them from scratch. I like raisins in oatmeal cookies but Chloe thinks they are bugs. Kinda like her Mom who was told by her older brother T.J. when she was five that the raisins in her Raisin Bran were flies. I also have to start thinking about Thanksgiving dinner since Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I have to make the traditional Turkey. I have a recipe for turkey that is really good, it's never dry it's really moist and juicy, even the breast meat. Then of course I will have lots of veggies,(I prefer veggies) and then homemade pies. So it will be really good. Christmas Eve dinner will be Vegetarian lasagne and cheese ravioli with a sauce loaded with chunks of mushrooms, green peppers, onion and tomatos.
We have a black kitten we call Trip who is growing really fast. He is a sweetie and he is really funny because if you are walking up to the store if you let him he will go with you, he will follow you like a dog, running back and forth scoping out the area, but he won't run off. It's funny, and kinda different. He followed Shannon and Erin home from the store one night and we kept him because he was so little and actually to young to be away from his mama but yet he was out running the roads. Unlike most people who fear black cats we love them. When you look at Trip in the sunlight he is actually stiped with a dark chocolate brown and black. He is really pretty. I keep a close eye on him though when he runs outside because some people are so fearful they try to harm black cats.
Yesterday on the way to the bus stop I was crossing the street, I had the right of way the walk sign was lit up and all and this fucking moron just starts making a left turn, not paying attention that someone was crossing in the cross walk luckily I saw him and stopped so he didn't hit me but I did yell some funny little words at him which finally got his attention. Last night some kids ran into the intersection when they shouldn't have but people kept turning left no one bothered to stop, one of the kids got hit twice and they kept on turning luckily the kid must've been ok because he picked up his shoe and ran off. But no one stopped. The kids told me what happened. What the hell is wrong with people are they in that much of a hurry to where they will hit kids and no one stops? I don't like driving around here because people here drive like idiots. I am not the perfect driver, I tend to drive too fast but I have never endangered anyone, and I have never gotten a ticket. Drivers here freak out when it rains also, and they also don't realize that the red light means stop and the green light means go. So they run the red lights and stay stopped at the green. I don't know about anyone else but as soon as the light is green and the intersection is clear I am off and on my way.
Well enough rambling for now I gotta go make cookies and clean up. I really want to write today too.
Huggs!!!
