Today was a rainy cold day, which of course I love. I came into work looking like a drowned rat because it was windy and rainy and there is a certain point where the umbrella becomes absolutely useless and there is no point in even trying to use it. When the wind turned mine inside out I folded it up pulled my hood over my head and got soaked. Either way it would have happened but hey it wasn't so bad, kinda refreshing. Oh hell, it was great!
We all brought in snacks, cookies etc, Sylvia brought tamales and they were awesome. But I ate a tamale and a few cookies, nothing much and my blood sugar slammed, it was aweful I had to drink orange juice to stop from shaking, I couldn't think, I almost passed out. The nurse says I need to get my blood checked for diabetes. I'm going to try to make a doctors appointment for Friday. I have t be sure i have a ride home though because that glucose test where you drink the orange stuff slamms me really bad to the point someone has to usually help me get into the car etc. Yep it's pretty bad, and then half way through all the blood draws my veins start giving out and they have to find new places to stick me. By the time they are done I am a wreck.
Right now I am really tired and weak from the Blood sugar incident, so I need to go lie down. I'm feeling really out of it right now.
