Shoe throwing and what not

There's been talk of shoe throwing in Iraq! Gotta love it! The prez ducks pretty good though... maybe the mrs. throws shoes at him too. lol!

Yesterday Shannon took me to see The Day The Earth Stood Still. It was a great movie, we loved it. It was nice to get out and do a little shopping and see a movie without little ones in tow.

It's been in the 50's here and rainy. It usually doesn't get that chilly here. I love the cooler weather though. i have a thin light coat that I wear and I love it becuase even though it doesn't look like it, it is water repellant and a wind breaker. For as thin as it is it's nice and warm for me. then again temps in the 60's is T-shirt weather for me. Even though it was rainy and I had to wait 25 minutes at the bus stop tonight, I loved it, the bus stop is covered anyway. When I got on the bus there were teens singing Christmas carols and everyone was singing along. It was cool! The walk home was absolutely beautiful.

Tomorrow at work everyone on all the teams is supposed to bring in cookies and snacks so we can snack all day on lots of good stuff. I brought my cookies in today so that they wouldn't all be eaten at the house.

We got the electric bill paid and some gifts for the little ones and if all goes well on payday Friday I will be able to do a little shopping myself. Things will work out as always. Prayers always get answered. I don't know why I ever worry. i should know by now I don't ever need to worry.

Erin got an attitude with me last night when I asked her if she would babysit Hannah and Chloe for Shannon while she went to pay the electric bill. Erin got mad and told me that she has a life and things to do. Well, that is true but we rarely ask her to abysit, she, Nancy and Becca still do not have jobs. So I told her "Ihave a life too and I am too old to be supporting 2 grown daughters, rent in due 1st of January, make sure you have it! But then we talked and I told her that with the way the economy is it is important for them to find jobs while they can. The more jobs are lost the slimmer the chances of finding one that pays decent. I hope I still have my job in January. The next job cuts come in January or February at American Express and no one's job is safe. I have a damn goood job with good pay and benefits I hope it will survive the layoffs. If not I will apply at the Humane society so I can work with the animals. But we need to all be working because if anything happens to me or shannons job we are all screwed. I could pay everything with mine if I had to but we would really have to cut back alot. So far we are very fortunate.

Well, I better get going, I have to clean up the kitchen. It's Monday and like every monday I want to be in bed before Sparky gets home. That way I can avoid the usual complaining. Buit I will get him a small gift for Christmas, because even though he is a pain in the arse he does help out allot with the little ones and pretty much for free. Shannon and Tyler were suppose to pay him 100.00 a week between the two of them but tyler won't pay and Shannon can't afford to pay it all herself. Tyler hasn't seen the girls since court last month, that's gonna really look good in front of the judge. i wish he would just behave because Hannah needs both her parents in the picture. Even his own parents are mad at him.

On a lighter note, My son T.J. who recently found his 6 year old daughter Kalee is having a great time getting reacquainted. And my son Mark and his girl Heather are expecting a baby soon and Heather already has 3 kids from a previous marriage so i have 3 more grandkids I am looking forward to meeting. If I could afford it I would get everyone together for a family reunion, that would be awesome! So all together I actually have 10 grandkids. Wow! I love it! Just wish I could be around all of them.

Well I am off to the kitchen to clean up, then I am going to make myself a cup of hot cocoa and snuggle up in bed with my big fluffy comforter and watch a movie with Chloe. Last night we watched Snow White. Chloe thinks Grumpy is her grandpa. During the bath scene Chloe said look Momo it's pa! And I said "see Chloe even stinky old men have to take a bath." lol!

Grumpy is exactly like Sparky!
