I went to walmart today because my bank is there and I had to take care of some stuff. I hate it, my check is gone the minute it hits the bank! But in January I will be all caught up. Hey, it could be worse, at least I have a job. I was going to get grocery's there but they were really busy so I took the bus to Frys to get groceries then caught a cab home. They had a lot of good stuff on sale, I got some Edame for work. Edame, carrots, broccoli, fresh oranges off the tree, and nutrigrain bars, Yum! i also got stuff to make homemade cinnamon swirl bread and some cookies with the girls on Sunday. I also found 2 advent calenders for them, I have to get one for Hannah and one for Chloe so they don't fight over them. They have santa and a bunch of christmas pics and a chocolate figure behind each little window.
The cable guy came to fix my internet, they had run the wire outside to the box and the dogs ate it, we rewired it and put a wieght bench in font of the wire and they dragged the weight bench across the yard, ate it, then pulled the wire completelt out and ate it too. So now it runs from the attic through the wall and into the house. Much better. The tech on the phone when I called to schedule the repair treated me like I was a retard when I was explaining to him what happened, finally he realized I wasn't the typical woman, and that I knew what I was talking about and he quit trying toprove me wrong and actually listened. I hate when men underestimate women. I used to work in production, and we had to work on the equipment. I can rewire stuff, pull motors, change belts, drive a forklift and so on, I rarely have to call someone to repair anything because I can do it, or figure out how to do it myself. There is no such thing as a helpless woman in my house.
We had a little kick back at the house the othernight for Becca's boyfriend Chris who is going to jail for 6 months, well actually, he went today. He's a good guy. Just cuz someones going to jail or has been in jail doesn't mean they are bad. So anyway it went well, everyone played beerpong and listened to lots of good music. I sat on the computer and sipped a beer and read some reading material my friend sent me. I don't play beer pong becuz I don't want to drink everytime I miss, lol! I am a light weight these days but there was a time when I could drink grown men under the table. But that was then...and it was fun! I am too old for that now. Beside's I have to regulate all the wasted people. Nancy and Shannon's friends are in their 20's and 30's so it's much better than the younger crowd they usually hangout with.
Nancy and Becca are all moved in. There is still shit everywhere though. Stuff that has to go in the storage room. But I am glad they are here. Nancy, Erin and Becca need to get jobs though because Shannon and I can't pay for everything ourselves, well we could, but we would like to have some extra money for ourselves.
I took today off to take care of some stuff which means I have to work tomorrow but Saturdays are usually slow and maybe I will have some time to work on my writing. Sometimes I get more peace at work then I do at home. I have to decorate Helens desk tomorrow before I leave work. It is her birthday and 1 year anniversary. I am the birthday lady. I am the one who keeps track of all the birthdays, anniversary's and stuff for the team. So I make a card and have everyone sign it, then I decorate the persons desk with balloons,streamers and confetti, and make sure there is cake or something.
So anyway, everything is pretty mcuch the same around here..
