We almost lost Erin today

We almost lost Erin today. She was walking to her boyfriend Alex's house and she had a really bad allergic reaction, She was going into anaphlactic shock and people around her thought she was joking when she was trying to get someone to call an ambulance luckily someone was smart enough to take her seriously by the time the paramedics got there her throat had closed up and she couldn't breathe or see. They gave her a shot of Epinephrine and put her on oxygen and took her to the ER they said if they would have gotten there any later she would have died. So now she has to wear an allergy alert bracelt and carry an epipen with her everywhere she goes. She didn't hace anything unusual to eat before she left the house, just chicken nuggets with ketchup and then some advil and she brushed her teeth with a new tooth paste. But you never know. We have to get her back to the allergist to find out if she is allergic to anything new. She has had severe allergies all her life but this has never happened. Well Thank God we didn't lose her.

Other than that the day went well. It was cloudy all day and got chilly on the way home tonight. The wind kicked up, it looks like the rain we expected is blowing in.

I have to make cookies this weekend again, some for the family and some for work. We are actually going to be closed for Christmas so I will not have to work.

Trip is doing better, but one of the kids that was over at the house accidentally sat on him. Trip is black and blends in with the computer chair.

I have to work tomorrow, it should go by pretty fast though. I am going to try to go to bed early.

Hugs,
Maria
