Domenic

This song reminds me of Domenic, my daughter Erin's ex who she dated for over 3 years. Domenic looks allot like Kurt Cobain, and is a ver sweet but troubled young man. Even though they are no longer dating he remains very dear to all of us, like a son to me still. We've been through allot with Domenic.

He is in jail right now and from what I hear he is doing ok, at least it is harder for him to commit suicide in there, at least where he is at. Nancy had some friend over last night and one of them began to bash Domenic and we took offense to it and asked him to stop. See, we've seen Domenic through over 10 suicide attempts, The 1st time, I chased him down after he stabbed him self twice in the right side twisting the knife, and I walked with him back to where the ambulance was waiting with my hand tight over the wounds, we couldn't stop and wait for the ambulane because he would have bled even more, the ambulance didn't know where we were and I didn't have my cell phone on me. He did it right in front of Erin and when she yelled for me and I tried to lay him down and stop the bleeding he took off running and jumped the back fence. That is when I chased after him. He was afraid they would lock him up. There were several other attempts over the years, several times we called the ambulance and tried to keep him awake. He's had a rough life and he is bipolar and doesn't take his meds because they make him feel bad. We've all seen him through allot.

We got a letter from him the other day, so we will have to write to him. I always hope the best for him. I hope that he realizes that he is loved by many and we really want him to do well when he gets out of jail. Domenic is a great guy, smart, funny and has allot going for him if he would just realize it. I think Erin still loves him, but she just couldn't deal with all the suicide attempts.

I know he must hate it in Jail, Sherriff Joe Arpaio's jail is a mess. So are all his deputies. They are all dirty as hell, we joke about them though especially when we watch Reno 911, here's a clip or two I swear this is like Arpaio's deputies.
