My little Spartan's face is healing well from the fight she was in, her knuckles are still prety scratched up but and one hand is so from accidently missing her target and hitting the pavement instead. She's fine. All the guys were talking about how she was bad ass. They all call her Spartan. At least they had her back and were there to take her home and make sure no one jumped in. She is so tired of fighting.
I am doing fine. I am babysitting Chloe and Hannah since Sparky has a side job laying carpet today. I am not really bothered too much by my job loss. I should have no problem finding another one. I put in some applications on line and updated my resume. As long as they don't screw up my check I will be fine for now. Hey we all knew it was coming, I am glad it's over with and I don't have to wonder who will be next. And i can truly say now that I know what it is like to be laid off. I have never been laid off or fired before. No big deal really. Not yet anyway. At least I know I did a good job while I was there. At least Shannon has her job still, for now, and Nancy and Erin are looking for work. Change is good though I asked God for a challenge and a change and I got it. lol!
Well, I gotta go put the girls down for naps, they are eating broccoli dipped in Ranch dressing for lunch. Then I will straighten up the house and get ready to cook what ever Nancy and Becca bring home for dinner.
Hugs,
Maria
