It's been awhile!

It's been a while since I've written anything on here. I have been so busy! I need time to unwind and to work on my novel but everytime I turn around all sorts of shit comes up.

The job search is on going but I have unemployment compensation now so that helps. I realize now more than ever that getting layed off was a blessing. I never realized until now how much stress I was under and how much it affected me. Things are getting much better.

Nancy took me to lunch today. We went to a place called Souper Salad. It's an all you can eat buffet with all sorts of salad, fruit, soups, and breads, a baked potato bar, pizza and tacos. It was really good. I had a salad and some fruit. Here is a picture of it. Interesting building huh! Photobucket
Then we went shopping at Metro Center. If you've ever seen the movie Badder Santa, Metro Center mall is the mall it was filmed around. Phoenix has some interesting places. I found a cute pair of shoes there and some cute jewelry. I didn't get the jewelry yet though, I wanted to go home and look at my clothes and see what will go with what. Anyway it was a nice break away from the house where Sparky Photobucketyells constantly!! His regular voice is like he is always yelling, and yes he does look like the pic I put next to his name. Sometimes I just want to say...Photobucket. Every time someone comes over they ask if he is my husband or boyfriend because the grand kids call us grandma and grandpa. The answer is always Hell no!!!! He has really been a pain in the ass lately. I am we are trying to feed Chloe and Hannah fruits, veggies, yogurt etc instead of junk food. But Sparky insists on filling them full of junk, chicken nuggets 24/7 cookies, candy and what not. That stuff is ok now and then but not all the time. But then his son, Shannons ex, Hannahs dad, isn't happy unless he is eating hamburger helper or some sort of fast food out of a paper bag. I don't know, I will be happy when he is no longer babysitting the girls. I just get really sick of his complaining which is 24/7, you just want to say to him PhotobucketPhotobucket

Tonight the Shannon, Nancy and Erin have friends over and they are playing beer pong. They all have to go to work tomorrow so they will be saying...Photobucket lol! Most of their friends are cool, the ones that are here tonight are cool. Some of the ones that came over last week got out of hand and wanted to threaten me when I told them to leave, that wasn't a wise thing to threaten me and the girls and say they were going to shoot up my house. My temper blew sky high, it wasn't pretty,Photobucket and several of the guys here were ready to take care of things for me. I try to stay calm and centered but when someone threatens my family I explode. The group that is here now are the real close friends who have kids and stuff, they are awesome!

Tomorrow I want to spend sometime outside in the yard. The weather has been beautiful, the orange tree is loaded with oranges and orange blossoms, and they smell amazing! I really want to plant a garden in the back yard. It's kinda hard though because we are renting and I can buy the place if I want, but I sense a move coming and I feel it will be out of state and near the water. Don't know why or when but i sense it will be fairly soon. Gotta pay attention to those gut feelings. lol!

The other night everyone was here at the house and Shannon came in and literally pulled me outside. She pointed up into the sky and there were 2 groups of 3 lights in a triangle formation. they were really bright then they would flair up in to bright orangish red balls then flash and go back to the way they were. They did it several times, they weren't planes, they weren't ghetto birds (that's what we call the police helicopters around here) they were definitly not flares. I totally believe in UFO's we see them around Phoenix all the time, usually at night but every now and then during the day. Anyway, it was so cool! I love seeing shit like that! It's amazing.

Well I better go, I am going to give Chloe a breathing treatment and lay down with her till she falls asleep, she's feeling pretty bad and she loves her Momo That's her way of calling me grandma.

Big hugs and brightest blessings,
Maria
