I am officially 49!

Today was a great day, busy as hell, tiring too, but awesome.

First we will start out with our family birthday song by NOFX

The day started out with a trip to court for Shannon's final custody hearing for Hannah. Tyler took her to court for custody and then only appeared once in court, after that nothing...yep, the final day in court and it wasn't important enough for him to show up. But that's ok because Shannon now has full custody of both Chloe and Hannah so in the long run it worked in her favor. Of course she would never keep Hannah from him. You can't force him to see his little girl but at least he will have to help pay to support her. It's not fair for Shannon to do it all by herself. So that was a great way to start the day. Then Shannon took me to lunch and then headed back to work. I went to the grocery store and grabbed a few things and took the bus home. It was 80 out today and hot, so it tired me out a bit. There was an odd old man sitting behind me on the bus, and he started singing Happy Birthday to me, and making weird noises. How did he know? How weird, but nice, if you can get over wondering how he knew.

After I got home, Nancy kidnapped me and took me shopping at one of the malls. I was so tired but didn't want to let her down. Plus I really wanted to attend an online meeting that I attend weekly for a friends band promotion. But shopping was fun, I am not one for shopping, I like to get what I want and go, but we had allot of fun. I got a nice big blue bath towel, a real pretty bright blue, also a pair of furry green frog slippers, and an awesome bottle of lotion. Times are tight with me baing layed off and with the economy so I didn't want Nancy to spend much. We finally got home and I was exhausted.

Erin cooked dinner and she had Chloe and Hannah decorate my cake, dark chocolate fudge cake, with cream cheese icing. They drew on it with blue gel icing, sprinkled green and yellow sugar (fairy dst) all over it, then they sprinkled mini chocolate chips on it and called them turds. It was too cute! The best!

By the way, I looked in the mirror and I really don't look as old as I am, hardly any wrinkles. I am enjoying being my age, it has it's advantages! It rocks!

Well, I am really tired, so I am headed to bed.
